Movie embedded in Acrobat PDF is too dark on Mac

Post by alainbriot »

Description of problem or question:
When I compress a movie in Handbrake and embed it in an Acrobat PDF using Acrobat DC Pro, the movie looks like the original uncompressed movie on Windows PCs but looks too dark on Apple Mac computers

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.1.1

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6

Can Handbrake save in FLV (Flash) format or codec? I read that it can but I can't find out the setting for that in Handbrake.

That might solve the dark movie problem because Flash is the format that Adobe Acrobat converts the mp4 movie into.

No, and since it works on some platforms, probably not a HB addressable problem.
