Data file format

Post by Deleted User 45740 »

Description of problem or question:

After encoding and it saves to my desktop I cannot open it up.
The document “testing” could not be opened. QuickTime Player cannot open files in the “data” format.
I am converting 2.7k 60fps HEVC GoPro footage to H.264 I didn't change any settings except in the video tab I changed framerate to "same as source"

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

Start the encode and let it finish. It has happened the 3 times I've tried it

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

1.2.2

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):

Mac OS Mojave 10.14.5, Early 2015 Model

Make sure the file has got a file extension (.mp4 or .mkv). If you delete it from the file name field handbrake won't add it back for you.
You attached an unrelated activity log.
