Specifying analyse option to x264 encoder, with colon included in value

Post by cross »

Description of problem or question:

I am trying to produce an x264 matroska video, and there are a number of specific pameters I want to give to the x264 encoder. However one of them (analyse=0x3:0x133) I cannot find a way to specify via the Video Encoder Options

How can I specify an option to the encoder when the value contains a colon? Is there a way to escape that to the option parser?

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

Select a Matroska H264 MKV, then under Video, Under additional options, enter analyse=0x3:0x133

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

1.2.2

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):

Mac OS 10.14.5

Note that the encode was only begun when this log was captured, however since the issue is with option specification and parsing, it displays the issue.

Use a comma in place of the colon.
