Adding .srt subtitles to mp4

Post by Jo79 » Wed May 15, 2019 1:12 pm

Description of problem or question:

I've successfully adding subtitles from an .srt file to an mp4 file. It works fine except that the first sentence is always cut off. The video plays as it should but the subtitles don't start showing until a sentence or two in. How do I fix this? I've tried it on a few different files but the same thing always happens. Thanks!

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

1.2.2

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):

Mac Mojave 10.14.2

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

Code: Select all

Please replace this text with the contents of your log file between the two code tags - OR - provide a pastebin URL in place of these 3 lines.
