Handbrake will only rip a few seconds or minutes of a DVD

This does not always happen, but sometimes when I want to backup one of my DVD's and go to rip it - it will only rip a few seconds or minutes. In some cases I'll have a double-sided DVD and it will rip one side fine and only a couple seconds of another. Or, I can have a DVD that I want to rip and it will only rip like 30 minutes when it completely rip other DVD's before and after that session.

Handbrake Version 1.2.2

Mac OSX Sierra 10.12.6

This activity log is for a double sided DVD in which I was able to rip the top side just fine, but the back side would only rip a few seconds.

Since handbrake is not a disk ripper, when the third-party add-on you are using encounters an error, the only thing it can do is assume that the end of file has been reached.

Clean your disk, and try a ripper like MakeMKV.
