Filters error in Yosemite

Description of problem or question:
When running 1.2.0 in Yosemite 10.10.5, the Filters tab is entirely greyed out, with a single set of dropdown menus visible at the bottom of the window, as pictured. Is this a known bug? Is there anyway around it to achieve Filter control in Yosemite?

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

Kind of looks like we may have been incorrect when we said we were compatible with 10.10. Kinda looks like it's not infact compatible :(

It should not look like that. You've not done anything wrong. I'll leave ritsuka to comment as to whether it's worth fixing. Seems to be getting harder to support older versions of mac these days

El Capitan works on the Mac that runs Yosemite. We will require El Capitan for the next major version.

For what it's worth, I have the very same issue with handbrake 1.2 and OSX 10.10.5...

Revert back to 1.1.2

Turns out, 1.2 actually needs 10.11 or later I'm afraid.

Running 10.10.5 here as well... Haven't really seen a need to upgrade the OS.

I've found not only is there the filter's window error. there's no "Advanced" tab either. I don't know if that removal was as designed, but I'm not a fan of it being gone. I've reverted to 1.1.0 which works very well still. :)

Advance tab removed by design. It's been obsolete for years. Instructions that tell you to use it are for versions more than 5 years old.

Actually you can still access it in 1.2. It's a bit hidden, if you find it you win a cookie.
