How do I get help if I can't find the activity log?

Description of problem or question:
No logs are being written.
Can't find the log, nothing is in the EncodeLogs folder.

I noticed that my previous post looks like it was removed. Am I disqualified from getting help if I can't find the log?

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):
Just install Handbrake

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.2.0

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
MacOS Mojave
Version 10.14.1

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)
I know I am required to have an activity log, but I cannot find it.

I did find an Activity folder, but the text is too long to paste here. What do I do?

Code: Select all

Please replace this text with the contents of your log file between the two code tags - OR - provide a pastebin URL in place of these 3 lines.
Thank you,
Phil

If the text is too long, it can be posted to a site like pastebin, and a link to it posted.

As for your "missing post", are you referring to viewtopic.php?f=5&t=38642&p=182193#p182193 ?

Don't worry, you're not disqualified. Thanks for making an effort to find your log(s). :)

Latest HandBrake for Windows has a convenient button on the Queue window for opening the logs directory. Is there anything there?

I'm on a Mac.

Oops, I misread. On Mac, you can open the Activity Log window, right click (or control+click) and select Open Activity Logs Directory In Finder.
