Handbrake fails to recognize new DTS options?

Post by mtrcycllvr »

Description of problem or question:
I purchased a copy of Incredibles 2 in the bluray pack. The bluray version fails to extract/recognize the DTS sound tracks... This leaves only the 2 channel AC3 tracks as options in the Audio section.

The DVD version (included with the bluray version) does not protest about the DTS sound track.

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):
produce MKV of bluray, point handbrake at MKV file, attempt to process..

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.1.2

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
macOS 10.13.6

The gist revolves around lines like so:

Hopefully I got all the supporting docs you need - if not, please don't hesitate to let me know...

Thanks so much for your time and ongoing effort to make handbrake the amazing tool that it is!

Try the nightly, which changed that library.

Yes, I can confirm that nightly 20181201134531-6c56031 seems to have cured the problem!

Thank you so much for the pointer and suggestion!
