Support for new macOS Mojave dark mode

Post by Deleted User 44775 »

Description of problem or question:

Do you have any plans to support the new dark mode interface in Mojave. I am sure Handbrake would look very great.

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

1.1.2

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
MacOS Mojave

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

Code: Select all

Please replace this text with the contents of your log file between the two code tags - OR - provide a pastebin URL in place of these 3 lines.

Support has already been added so it'll be available in a future release some time.

If you want to try it now, you can install a nightly build: https://handbrake.fr/nightly.php

This will soon become HandBrake 1.2.0.

I've downloaded the nightly build - Version 20181027134652-36f5330-master (2018103101) and its not showing dark mode. What am I missing?

The nightly builds are not built with the right version of Xcode yet. So at the moment you have to compile it yourself on 10.14 and Xcode 10 if you want dark mode support.
