Won't work on my new Mac Book Pro High Sierra 10.13.6

Handbrake worked great on my PC. Latest version 1.1.1 won't work on my Mac book pro.
Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):
HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.1.1
Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6
HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

every time I try to use it says "failed" .
