Description of problem or question: Our iMac is heating up to 100 degrees C when processing a movie.
We are running HB Version 1.1.0 (2018040700) on a new 2017 iMac with i7 processor and Sierra as the operating system
We have TG Pro to monitor fans and temperature.
This did not happen with our 2010 iMac with i7 processor.
Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable): Simply processing any video. Most recent a 1.5G mp4
HandBrake Version 1.1.0 (2018040700):
Operating system and version: High Sierra 10.13.4 (17E199)
Apple do tend to run their machines close to thermal limits. Make sure it's in a cool room, the fan vent is clear of dust etc.
Other than that, not much you can do about it without opening it which would void the warranty. Video encoding is an intensive process so will generate a lot of heat.
