FCPX > handbrake > separate videos per chapters?

Description of problem or question
I'm trying to get handbrake to make separate video files out of a long 259 minute Final Cut Pro video with 60 embedded FCPX chapter markers. I exported a ProresLT from FCPX with chapter markers to handbrake. The result was only one 259 minute mp4. What is the exact workflow for getting my 60 separate movies? I was told this could be done. Thanks.

While it's technically possible, it's tedious to do with HandBrake as it's not a use-case that's well supported in automation.

You basically have add to queue, each chpater set, manually.

So on the source row on the GUI, you'll see chapters x through y. So 1 to 1, add, 2 to 2 add etc.

Failing that, you'd need to write a script to run this via the Command line interface. Less tedious but requires scripting knowledge.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I spent 30 hours on this because my hosting company's moronic tech support told me it was easy and handbrake would do it automatically.
