Handbrake video pixelated after encoding, raw video fine

Description of problem or question
After encoding a video (recorded with OBS - Nvenc - Lossless preset) it becomes pixelated? Raw Video out of OFB is fine.


Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable)

I havent tried encoding it a second time yet. However, getting it through Handbrake latest Nightly build made it come out even smaller without pixelation issues.


HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0)
1.0.7

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.3 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update)

Win10 64bit Latest Updates

My CPU (i7 8700k) runs with 4.9GHZ no avx offset.

Can that be caused by unstable overclock? Stresstests were stable.

Looks like a bad decode... but you say the nightly has already fixed this?

Accidentally posted this in mac support instead of windows, sorry for that.


I tried the nightly build and staxrip, both encoded it without any noticeable pixelation like the latest non beta handbrake build does.

Am I using wrong settings with then? If you say it looks like a bad decode

Well if it's fixed in the nightly, then HandBrake 1.1.0 will have the fix, mission accomplished

Just tested both versions agaain. Made sure to copy the exact same settings over to nightly.

Standard handbrake version = Pixelation issue

Nightly build, copied settings 1:1 = No pixelation

Yea the new version def. fixed it
