Internal Crash?

Post by Ramroumtx »

Hello,

my handbrake keeps crashing. It says: "an internal error has occurred. you can chose to continue in an unstable state or crash." I click on crash then it closes out completely. I try to reopen and then I select continue. Then another box says the same thing. I try to hit continue and it does nothing. SO I try to select crash and does nothing either. I restarted my computer and the same messages come up. I will attach a screen shot. I was not able to go to activity window to get the log because its greyed out. Unless there is another way to get it? What can I do to fix this mess?

I also can't get the handbrake version but I looked it up and its 1.0.3
Macbookpro: 10.7.5

Try to move somewhere else the Queue.hbqueue file you can find in ~/Library/Application Support/HandBrake , if it fix the issue please send me that file so I can see what's going wrong.

It's in the library folder inside your home folder. I think it's invisible on 10.7. Keep the alt key pressed and see it if appears in the Finder Go menu.

Maybe you need to scroll up? I don't know, if you don't have that folder you have more serious issues on your computer.

Delete Queue.hbqueue and try to start HandBrake again.

I went to ~/Library/Application Support/HandBrake (using the alt key from Finder/Go to Folder). I deleted all the files in that folder and restarted Handrake. It works! Thanks for the info. :D
