No audio

Post by drmdzh »

I am trying to create mp4 or mov files of old home videos that are on DVDs. I've tried various settings for the audio, but when I open the created files in quicktime they have no audio. (I also imported to Final Cut, also no audio.)

I get audio when I only convert one chapter, but as soon as I try to do the whole DVD, it doesn't work.

I have tried a couple of different DVDs, same thing. The log is in pastebin. I hope I am asking this correctly.

Thanks.

Don't use mp3 in the mp4 container. It's not well supported.

By not well supported, ritsuka means Apple products (and a few others) don't support playback of mp3 audio in mp4 container.
