Lowest Acceptable Quality

Post by nachoelias111 »

I want to convert some security camera footage from it's original avi format to something more universal and compact. They're originally recorded at 7 fps, 1920 x 1080. What settings do you recommend I use? It's currently taking Handbrake (version 1.0.3, Mac) over two hours to convert a three-hour video.

RF in the low 30s is as far as I'd go.

If you want faster encodes, pick a faster x264 preset.
