Handbrake is changing aspect ratio

Post by newcatz »

I'm trying to convert a video from a final cut pro video in order to reduce its size so as to be able to send it via dropbox. I'm exporting the videos as 1280 x 720. In Handbrake, I've used a number of options, including the default, which involves changing nothing. But every time it changes the aspect from 16:9 to 4:3. Funny thing is, it did not happen the first time I converted a video, but it's doing it every time now and I can't figure out how to stop it. I'm new to this whole thing.

Mac OS 10.12.3 (Sierra). Handbrake version 1.0.3. Final Cut Pro 10.3.2.

No error messages.

Code: Select all

Paste a log of the scan or encode between these code brackets, or use a pastebin website and provide us with the URL it gives you.

Thanks!!! :D
