I am using OSX El Capitan 10.11.6 and handbrake version 1.0.3
When I try to convert a DVD into mp4 format, the output video looks very distorted.
Log:
07:48:24] scan: title angle(s) 1
[07:48:24] scan: audio 0x89bd: dca, rate=48000Hz, bitrate=1536000 English (DTS) (5.1 ch)
[07:48:24] scan: audio 0x80bd: ac3, rate=48000Hz, bitrate=384000 English (AC3) (2.0 ch)
[07:48:28] scan: content PAR gives wrong aspect 32:15; using container aspect 16:9
[07:48:28] scan: 10 previews, 720x480, 29.970 fps, autocrop = 6/12/0/0, aspect 16:9, PAR 32:27
[07:48:28] Title is likely interlaced or telecined (10 out of 10 previews). You should do something about that.
[07:48:28] libhb: scan thread found 2 valid title(s)
[07:48:28] macgui: ScanCore scan done
Not sure what I am doing wrong. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thank you

Re: distorted video when ripping DVD
We need the encode log that goes with this - should have been in the same location as the scan log.
And an example of the "distortion" would be helpful, as well.

Re: distorted video when ripping DVD
We need the entire encode log.
