HandBrake crashes as soon as I hit Edit Job on a (finished) job in the HandBrake Queue.
macOS 10.12.x on iMac using either HandBrake 1.0.1 or HandBrake 1.0.2. No such error with HandBrake 0.10.5
No messages. HandBrake just stops.
Sorry!

Re: HandBrake crashes
There should be something about the crash in the OS X logs. Without that, it is hard to point to possible causes.
Re: HandBrake crashes
Can you descrive how to reproduce the crash?
Re: HandBrake crashes
First rip a title to mkv. When handbrake finishes the job go to the queue right-click the finished job and select edit job. This is what I was used to do in earlier releases. You then can quickly rip the same title to mp4.
Re: HandBrake crashes
Unrelated to the queue edit crash, you COULD start the MKV encode, change the output file type to MP4 (which should change the file extension on the output file) and click "Add to queue", rather than waiting for the first encode to finish.
Re: HandBrake crashes
For the time being that would be a suitable workaround.
Re: HandBrake crashes
The crash should be fixed in the last nightly build, please try it.
Re: HandBrake crashes
Yep, I've tried it and it works. Thanks. When will this build be released?
Re: HandBrake crashes
A week from never.
Re: HandBrake crashes
It could take a few weeks for us to get a new bugfix release out. There's no harm in using the nightly build until then.
