Quits converting after 5%

Everytime I try attempt to convert multiple AVI files to MP4 Handbrake just quits after about 5% and says done.

It's like a 50min video and handbrake gives me like a 10min version.

Anyone help?

tl;dr remux to mkv with mkvmerge or similar

When I start the process of muxing it with mkvmerge it just does nothing and says "remaining time: is being estimated"

You still need to provide the encode log from Handbrake for us to have any iDea of what you are having Handbrake do, to figure out what you need to do.

Yea I guess mkvmerge doesn't support non-standard large AVI either. Off to Google for you.
