Bedlam Preset--- How long?

Post by lawjigga »

Dear Group,

I have a pretty new machine: Here are the specificiations.

Windows XP SP 2
Intel R Core 2 CPU
6400 @ 2.13GHZ
2.13 ghz, 2.98 Gigs of Ram

Running the newest version of Handbrake. I started the Bedlam Preset on my dvd files and its been almost 12 HOURS later and seems to have haulted (yet a control alt delete shows the process still running) since I last checked it 5-6 hours.

BTW, My processor usage is not at 50% standard? How long does this thing take guys.... My system is dedicated and is not being used for anything else.

Vic

Halted at which point? If you left the chapter markers on, then mkv files won't mux in 0.9.0. It's a known, fixed bug.

Dear Hawkman,

Thanks for your e-mail. I double checked Bedlam presets (its a preset in the preset section) and it seems that the chapter markers where CHECKED by default. Therefore, I have now un-checked the markers, and will try it again :-).

Thanks for your help, I will keep you posted.

Vic

P.S. Without Chapter markers, I assume I can't fast forward ot the next chapter with my fast-forward chapter button?

Vic

No, unfortunately not. However, 0.9.1 should be upon us quite soon, and that will include the fix.

After clicking off the chapter section, and getting a Completed pop up screen, I can't seem to find the file?! I checked the folder but to no avail?

I suggest using your system's search feature to find it. If you specified an incorrect path, it may simply not exist (I don't know anything about the win gui's behaviour in this situation).
