Hopefully this is a quick answer.
I'm trying to convert a Blu ray MKV file to the Apple TV 3 preset (to play on the ATV). The MKV has DTS-HD 7.1 audio.
1. Can I bring this audio over by selection the DTS-HD Passthrough setting?
2. If so, do I select just one audio slot within handbrake or do I need to select the one below it as well and use the passthrough option again. I'm just confused whether I need to use the second slot or not because when you select the ATV 3 preset it has two slots selected with the same audio track but different settings for each slot. I would assume that just one slot selected with the HD-DTS passthrough is enough but I don't know the inner workings of the ATV.
Many thanks.

Re: DTS-HD Audio Passthrough
The ATV devices do not support DTS, so there isn't much reason to include a DTS stream in an ATV oriented file.
