Problems HandBraking P90X2

I am having problems HandBraking my new P90X2. I have been pressing the "alt" button in order to scan only the title that I am wanting to encode (I think that's the term). Which works...eventually. The program gets all the way through, shows that "Pas 1 of 1, 100%" but then sits for a VERY long time until I get the "put down your cocktail" window. It does eventually come up but since there are 15 DVD's it would be great if I could figure out another way to do this so it doesn't take me so many days to complete. It will encode the DVD within 20 minutes or so but then sits for up to an hour.
