Mark In to Out

Post by JMFlint »

First, I apologize if this question is answered somewhere, but I cannot for the life of me find anything that references it (I've tried several ways of phrasing the question as well).

I really did look at FAQs and the Wiki, but maybe I'm missing something...

ANYway.... I've been using another similar software to rip video off of DVDs and I'm used to marking an in-point and an out-point within a chapter, then just capturing those frames. How to I do this in Handbrake? I see the selections for Chapters, Seconds, and Frames, but what if I don't know exactly where it is? I usually scrub through a preview video, set my in-point, scrub to the end of the capture and set my out-point.

Thanks in advance for helping this Handbrake newbie.
