empty cells

Post by Martin »

When trying to rip certain Dvds there are empty cells. How do you get rid if these?

use a program called dvd2oneX it's not free but it's what you'll need.

Best 20-30 bucks you can spend.

1/ Rip the movie using Mactheripper. Donate and get the 3.0 beta - it works much better on those pesky Disney and Sony movies.

2/ Open DVD2OneX and select movie only (makes it simpler later). Open the movie and then on the left click on "cells" Unselect the 0 length cells. Burn the image or a DVD. Mediafork can read the image as can most other converters. You can also use the mac disk utility or other favorite to burn a DVD later.

Use mediafork to rip to MP4 or whatever as usual by pointing it at the image. If you select fileset in DVD2OneX Mediafork should still be able to read it.

Hope that helps - if you need more take a look at ripdifferent.org
