Know HOW to convert AVI into MP4 using handbrake?

I've converted DVDs just fine. Let me say now this program is awsome. I have several TV episodes in avi format and was wondering if anyone knows how to convert them into MP4 using HandBrake. If not, any other tips on how to?

Handbrake cannot transcode. Look at something like mediacoder for that.

Use iSquint....I assume you are looking to get a mpeg file out of your .avi's because you want to play it on and iPod or AppleTV?
