Okay, I found the activity log, the conversion gets to a point then it loops, stopping the read, now I am thinking I have bricked my DVD drive, but it still plays DVD's fine. here is the Log, finaly!

The last line repeats for a few hundred times or more, I had to quit the app to get it to stop. Does this finally help with diagnosing my issue?

Please enclose all activity logs in the CODE tag. You'll find it as a little button in the toolbar when making a new post.

For grins, go into your advanced options and untick the checkbox labeled "Use libdvdnav (instead of libdvdread)". Some users have had success with stubborn DVDs using libdvdread instead.

Same issue, I posted this on the mtr forum, they think I have a bad DVD drive, I am going to try and swap it out at some point with another see if that solves the situation.

So you're not going to try the easy solution I (and others) have proposed when this issue pops up, and instead swap out your drive? Also, provide some activity logs so we actually know you're having an identical issue instead of your self-diagnosis of "me too!".

Your log shows you're still using dvdnav. You need to relaunch HandBrake for the setting to take effect.
