I'm just wondering if Handbrake will now natively support high bitrate (over 1.5Mbps) H.264 iPod encodes. It could do it previously, but required additional parameters in the advanced field. If it doesn't yet do that automatically, is there a specific preset available?
Also, in the past, I've encoded DVD rips at 2.5Mbps, but notice some choppiness in the playback, probably due to the iPod choking on it. Any tips for smoothing that out while trying to maintain the bitrate?

Can you be a little more specific? iPod covers an entire range of devices going back over 8 years now.

Ah, sorry. I'm using a 5.5G iPod video.
