HELP! activity log is crrrrazy!

Handbrake doesn't work. I looked at the activity log and it just keeps adding. HELP!

Handbrake no longer reads encrypted DVDs by itself - you'll need to install VLC (0.9.2+) in /Applications.

Have you actually opened VLC to bypass the leopard security notification? Tied playing something though it?

Have you tried ripping the disk to your hard drive with a dedicated program such as Mac the Ripper before running handbrake?

yes. It says "read error!, Can't open VMG info". then it says "I/O error, Can't read DVD title Set Info"

Can you play the DVD is a standard player? How about the Apple DVD Player application?

that works fine. i've literally tried everything. VLC, fairmount, mac the ripper, dvd2one. i have no idea what to do.
