So I'm not reading about any major issues with v1.4.0 and it's still recommended for download on your site, so now that it's been almost a month, isn't it time for us to be able to update using sparkle???

1.4.1 will be made available via the built-in updater and should be available in the near future.
1.4.0 will not be.

Certainly does for me. I rarely, if ever update an app unless it's in the App Store or updated from within the app when that means is offered, unless I'm formally beta testing something.
