No. DTS passthru only works in conjunction with the mkv container format. mp4 which the appletv uses did not support dts passthru until very recently and I'm sure the appletv does not yet support dts passthru. Maybe someday when the documentation for dts in mp4 becomes available and more devices support it, we will add that capability.
