On windows I have to setup a fake monitor to get qsv to work, because I have an AMD card installed.
AFAIK Nvidia users can setup programs to run on the integrated card in the Nvidia control panel.
Had some of the developers seen this post: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=29958
Maybe this helps handbrake to work without special settings.
