SSL Certificate Changes

Post by HandBrake »

Just a quite note to make everyone aware that

download.handbrake.fr (our secondary download mirror and contrib server) is now https enabled and will forcefully redirect any URL to the https version.

LetsEncrypt provides the certificates for this sub-domain.

In addition, in the coming weeks we will be changing the certificate provider for the main website, so don't be surprised if you notice a chage. An update will be posted here once we've made the change.

This change should not affect anyone but it does improve security for those who don't have a trustworthy connection.

If you find any issues, please let us now in the general forum, or hit up the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page if you wish to send a message to us in private.
