It would be super to be able to use Apple ProRes HQ 1080 as source file.
We work in the post production business and we have to provide a lot of h264 files from ProRes. Compressor works verry well but it is not well optimised yet (waitting for snow leopard). On the latest mac pro 8 cores it is really obvious.
