Ability to Schedule Queue

Post by PatWarn »

I use a Mac Mini as a media center, and in addition to HandBrake it runs other apps to record TV and Radio. I'd like to be able to schedule times for queue processing.

As I am currently rewriting the macgui queue code, frankly I do not see this coming any time soon.
Just being honest.

Would it be possible (or is it already?) to save a queue as a list of HandBrakeCLI commands?

nope. The HandBrake gui isn't a CLI wrapper. It uses it's own libhb library so would require a huge amount of work to convert settings to CLI strings.

I have the same request, though for a different reason. Can we change our request to adding some AppleScript support to Handbrake? If I can schedule a "tell" (easily done) to ask Handbrake to perform a task, or to just to resume the current queue, I can meet my goal.
