I realize audio normalization is slated for v 1.0, but the AC3 dialog norm function already exists in A/52. I think it would just be a matter of setting a flag in the A/52 decoder. I am not a programmer, but I encode AC3 files for a living and having that functionality would be a huge benefit (certainly if it is easy to do).
I am a long time user and a huge fan of Handbrake. I don't intend to be a smart ass, but if anyone wants an explanation of the difference between audio normalization and dialog normalization I am happy to help.
