Can you add 10bit Encoding support on Kaby Lake for the Mac?

It's not entirely clear what you're asking. We have no immediate plans to include multilib by default in the very near future. Likewise, we have no immediate plans for QSV on the Mac platform in the very near future.

@BradleyS, my bad! I was indeed asking about QSV support for Mac (as it is supported with the latests mbps and MacOS High Sierra)

We'd need to support QuickSync on Mac in the first place. We've not decided whether we will or not yet. unfortunately, it's crippled by Apple's abstracted API so the benefits to having it are no where near what they are on windows as very significant options are not available.

So at the moment, if you have a capable mac, your probably better sticking with 10bit x264/5
