With upcoming changes to data protection and privacy laws in Europe coming into effect soon, we thought this would be a good time to remind everyone that we do have a privacy policy.
This applies to all users and visitors world-wide.

We have made a few changes to the language to make it clearer in relation to this new regulation but fundamentally, the terms and your rights are unchanged.

[Duplicate] Video pass-through

Post by JX75 » Sat Jul 01, 2017 10:14 am

I would like an additional “pass-through” video encoder in the list.

Sometimes I have to tweak some detail in an mp4 file (e.g. adding subtitles, removing chapters) and I don’t want to reencode the whole video stream. Some applications already do that but they seem to choke on x265/hevc data.

I’m running HandBrake 1.07 on Windows 7.

Sorry, this had been rejected numerous times.

HandBrakes pipeline is not suited to this. It's designed for Video Transcoding which is the key purpose of the app.

You'll need to find a good muxing tool.
