Please describe what you would like to see added to HandBrake:
It would be nice to be able to have an option to play a sound when encoding is completed to alert the user.

Why would you like to see this added:
In order that the user will be alerted when a conversion task has been completed.

What version of HandBrake are you currently running:
Version 1.0.2

What operating system and version and you currently running (e.g. OSX 10.11, Windows 7, Ubuntu 14):
Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64 Bit

The Mac version can already do it, not sure about the Windows version.

The Windows version (1.0.3 2017022500 64bit) does NOT have the option to play a sound when the queue is finished. the options are:
Do Nothing
Shutdown
Suspend
Hibernate
Lock System
Log Off
Quit HandBrake

It doesn't but some people use the SendFileTo option in preferences to invoke a script to do it.

Unfortunatly when we removed growl due to it's lack of maintenance and problems, we lost this ability. It's something I plan to revisit to see if we can get some of the functionality back even if I have to code it myself.

Done: https://github.com/HandBrake/HandBrake/ ... 6eeac944ad

It'll be available in the next nightly build, or 1.1 whenever that lands. (no eta)
