Please describe what you would like to see added to HandBrake:
I would like to see .srt encoding brought back back for closed caption on most older movies.
I encode all my videos as .mkv
Why would you like to see this added:
I like the option of subtitle styling in MX player pro,
also .ssa and .ass are not the best acronyms.
What version of HandBrake are you currently running:
I'm using the current version 1.0.0. in addition to version 0.9.8
What operating system and version and you currently running (e.g. OSX 10.11, Windows 7, Ubuntu 14):

The acronyms .ssa and .ass have nothing to do with Handbrake. You should take that problem up with the groups that made those formats.
