Linux platform Handbrake x265 feature

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to convert videos in x265 codec in linux platform.Linux software is older one.So not include x265 for that version
please help me

If you have an older version of HandBrake, then you must update to a newer one to get x265. Can't tell you more than that since you haven't provided much information.

What version of HandBrake are you currently running and where did you get it?
What distro of Linux are you running?

And a bump after waiting only 18 minutes? Really? :roll:

I'm a new commer for linux platform.so I don't know some of them very well
I got it from this page https://launchpad.net/~stebbins/+archiv ... e-releases
0.10.1ppa1~trusty1 is the package I selected.So how can I update this version to get x265??
I'm using ubuntu 14.0.4 version.I can't update os.I use this in a server.They are not provide the latest version of ubunto 15.

The version of HandBrake from that PPA has x265. Perhaps you mistakenly installed the "handbrake" package from the Ubuntu repo instead of the "handbrake-gtk" and "handbrake-cli" packages from the PPA?

ooh I installed only "handbrake-cli" package :D not installed "handbrake-gtk" package.I'll install the missing package and tell you what happen.

I installed it.Now It show x265 feature.
