Hi all,
I'm slowly learning HandBrake (Linux Mint 17.1, PPA build). I've been experimenting with various GUI options to tune the encoding. What would be great is if the GUI could show the equivalent and complete HandBrakeCLI command line that would reproduce the encode. This would be a great convenience in setting up a scripted batch-encode for my settings! It would also help encourage new users to use HandBrakeCLI, as it would allow them to change GUI settings and examine how the command line changes.

The GUI doesn't actually use the command line, so never actually creates a query. It's a lot of work to maintain something like this for a niche feature.

Re: Show the HandBrakeCLI command line for the current GUI settings
Oh, dang. Well, that explains why I was unsuccessful in doing this on my own. I was trying various HandbrakeCLI options to recreate a GUI encode down to the byte. You've saved me some further effort. Thanks!
