When you open a file for transcoding the default save location is the directory from which you opened it.
Would not have to manually choose directory after that.
That is all...if some way to change this preferences would appreciate it. Keep up the good work - really appreciate effort on this project as well.

Preferences > default path > change to > {source_path}. It's listed right below the box as available options.
