Thanks, I have the iphone 3GS, after doing some testing i've found that some of my movies will go to iPhone and others not! all of which had been created using the standard ATV preset in HB... so some work, others not, using the exact same setting in HB.. After doing some digging it seems to depend on where the original DVD came from! which is strange as all play fine on the ATV.

Thanks again, I appreciate your help

That shouldn't happen. Start another topic and provide the encode logs for the encodes that won't sync: http://trac.handbrake.fr/wiki/ActivityLog

Anyone can help me using (or contacting the Subler's Developer) ?
Subler seems unavaible to search for Italian DVD in Amazon.it or IMDB.it on other search supported engine.
Why ???

Because Subler doesn't use Amazon.it or IMDB.it for metadata/artwork lookup, it uses the tagChimp service.

Thanks for the reply.
Are you sure about that ?
Seems that is possible to search also in Amazon and IMDB and others, as you can see in attach.
Just wonder why only .com site are usable.

no, it only searches tagchimp, but it can find a record based upon one of the identifiers from these other services.
I have wanted to add support for themoviedb and thetvdb, but there hasn't seemed to be much interest and I never got a clear answer on how to contribute code.

And do you know if there's some good alternative (also commercial app) that can search meta tags in some italian web site ?
I've tried MetaX, Vidalin, and many more with no success ...

if it helps, iDentify uses TheMovieDB and TVDB as well as tagChimp.

I use iDentify most of the time, but Subler has some capabilities that are excellent and I pull it out for the odds and ends.

I'd tried also iDentify, thanks, with no success.
Seems that italian sources are totally ignored by developers :)

Yes, Subler can only search on tagChimp. I am the developer.

Great, thanks for the reply.

More then 2 years after this thread has been created, its pretty save to say the 'maybe' and the '?' could be removed from the title. (Not that it would have been necessary to begin with)
Nice job :)
