With the last two major 3D TV manufacturers announcing that they're dropping that feature from their 2017 and later lines of TVs, it looks like people may (at least) slow down their requests for when handbrake will support 3D MVC...

Doesn't matter. We don't implement full decoders ourselves, and none of the core developers seem to care for 3D anyway. Any form of 3D support will come from a third party, IMO.

Or maybe mduell will do it :)
