Do you recommend repo or snap?

Post by linuxuser »

I use Ubuntu 19.10 and http://ppa.launchpad.net/stebbins/handb ... ntu/dists/ doesen't contain a snapshot version, so is it an idea to use handbrake with a snap installation. https://snapcraft.io/handbrake-jz says it is from October 2019

That Snap version is not built by the HandBrake team So it's not something we'd formally support.

official 1.3 shouldn't be too far out with formal support for 19.10.

Failing that, we also provide Flatpak builds on the site.

You should use the flatpak official builds; other builds are not officially supported by us.

Thanks for clarifying this.

Can you say a little bit more? 1 week, 1 month ...? Of course I understand that this is not sure.
