Default location for "Open Source" dialog in GUI?

Post by NoLifeDGenerate »

Running whatever the current version is on Ubuntu 16.04 Mate, GUI. Every time I select Open Source, it starts in my goddamn Home folder instead of the folder I just opened a file from. Is there a way to change this? I want it to stay in the folder where I opened the last file from.

It's a bug in the version of GTK that Ubuntu is using. If you cancel the dialog, then open it a second time, it may return to the last used folder. At least that has been the experience of others.
