Xenial Xerus and Repo

I am changing from Ubuntu Trusty to Xenial Xerus. At http://ppa.launchpad.net/stebbins/handb ... ntu/dists/ I can find only vivid, but no xenial. So Is it a good idea to use ppa:stebbins/handbrake-git-snapshots - viewtopic.php?f=13&t=33054 instead?

With http://ppa.launchpad.net/stebbins/handb ... ts/trusty/ there have been nearly no problems, except that tricky one, we solved ;-) Will the git-repo be more unstable? Should I better use the vivid-version with xenial?

You are currently using the old ppa for snapshots that we used before transitioning to git. It hasn't been updated in quite some time now. I created a new PPA when we switched to git because I needed to change the version numbering scheme and deb is ridiculously strict about how version numbers are allowed to change.

Current snapshots are available in this PPA
https://launchpad.net/~stebbins/+archiv ... -snapshots

Is the same as:

viewtopic.php?f=13&t=33054
add-apt-repository ppa:stebbins/handbrake-git-snapshots

Thanks
