[SOLVED] 1 pass encoding

Description of problem or question:
I can't seam to do a 1 pass encode any more. even when i disable 2 pass it still does 2 pass encoding



Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):




HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):
1.0.7



Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
lmde3



HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

My guess is you're seeing the Foreign Audio Search scanning for forced subtitles. This additional pass adds subtitles for small bits of dialog not in your language (e.g. an alien speaking).

Anything is a guess without seeing an Activity Log, which is required for support. Also, HandBrake 1.1.2 is the currently supported release version, so please update.

You were right. It was the subtitle scan. Thank you for the help. Next time I'll remember to include the log.
