I've found this out encoding my Simpsons episodes. I enter the chapter names from the DVD booklet
e.g. "just playing the blues, dad" - with quotes
And in the finished file the chapter displays as:
"just playing the blues
So, the comma seems to signal the end of the chapter name. If I edit the chapter names afterwards in Muxo (Windows edition) they appear correctly, so it's not a limitation of chapter names in general.
Using Handbrake 0.9.3 2008112300 (Windows version, AppleTV setting with CRF at 57%)
[0.9.3] chapter names with commas

Re: [0.9.3] chapter names with commas
Unrelated (mostly), but am I missing the obvious? Where is Muxo for Windows located? The Muxo forum seems all but dead and all I have ever seen is a MacOS binary.

Um, well, yes, if you include commas in a list of *comma separated values* you are going to have issues if you don't escape them.
Re: [0.9.3] chapter names with commas
Should the standard slash escaping be used? i.e. "just playing the blues\, dad"
